This Week’s Rose(s) 🌹
I went back to Lagree this week for the first time in well over a year! It was humbling (to say the least), but I was proud of myself for finally doing it.
I also went to CPY Sculpt again this week, where last week was also my first class back in over a year!
It’s not easy trying to get back into the swing of things after completely falling off the workout wagon for the longest stretch of my life, but I have got to get my shit together. It feels good to feel good, and I really want to get back to a place where I physically do.
This Week’s Thorn(s) 🥀
I hate to air Marley’s dirty laundry like this (no pun intended), but our poor girl peed the bed three different nights this week. 😵💫 Obviously she doesn’t mean to, but the constant laundry (mattress pad, sheets, mid weight blanket, comforter) was a little bit of a downer. We emailed the vet this morning after the third night (not in a row, but still) and said it’s probably time to start her on the incontinence medicine.
Looking Ahead ✨
I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED FOR NEXT WEEKEND!!! Lollapalooza is always one of my favorite summer weekends in Chicago, and this year it’s extra special. We’ll be celebrating one of my besties’ 40th birthday with ~20 people!!! It’s going to be magical.
Rosie Assoulin for Target launches tomorrow morning (Saturday!) at 10am CENTRAL! So many fun stripes. Here’s a peek at my wish list of what I already have in my cart: this dress (!!), these sandals (!), this flowy dress, this striped dress, this madras skirt and matching top, this skirt, this dress with this belt, these trousers, this skirt, this shirt, and this sarong. I haven’t bought anything from Hill House in what feels like forever, but I really like the look of this halter dress and this top + shorts set.
Speaking of… I’ve been lusting after these Casa Bombón totes for months (how chic is this??) and just saw they did a collab with HHH. You have to see the two prints… This cherry tote and this green printed tote. DREAMY!
This nautical cardigan looks just like The Great, but for $200 less.
Another nautical find for you… This ricrac linen dress. (Again, not where you’d expect to find it, lol.)
I love the contrast of this kimono-like dress, but sadly can’t find it in stock anywhere in my size.
Also, can I just say — God bless Farm Rio for keeping their prices steady, if not lowering them. (Maybe they just seem more affordable these days as everyone else has jacked up the price of everything?!)

Baby doll dresses always make me look like I’m expecting, but I love the striped color combo of this one.

My makeup bag situation was in need of a major upgrade. I don’t have room for a true vanity in our bathroom, so pretty much all of my makeup (both longtime favorites and new things I’m testing out) have to live in my makeup bag. It was getting out of hand digging through everything, so I ordered this large toiletry case that folds down and seems to have more organization! Fingers crossed.
I ordered these jeans to try out, as they seem like a good now + later style in terms of both cut and wash. I’ll keep ya posted!

This navy and white skort is timeless. This belted maxi makes me want to return to Italy. Same with this linen dress!! Gap is having a huge sale! 50% off (almost) everything. 🫨 I’m not sure that everything on this list is included, but I keep all of my Gap favorites saved here.
