I felt really strongly that women should take creatine, did tons of research. I def saw cognitive and physical benefits such as muscle definition (scale does go up 1-3 lbs tho). After about 6 weeks my hair started falling out in clumps. Like massive shed. everything I researched said hair loss was NOT a side effect and just a myth but I found a bunch of other women on Reddit who had it happen too. The second I stopped taking it the hair loss stopped. So I guess im a rare case but sharing just in case anyone ever has this happen to them and thinks they’re alone.

I started adding creatine to my smoothies about six months ago. (I'm, also, on HRT, because perimenopause is a blast.) I've noticed I have more energy and recover quicker from my workouts than my girlfriends who don't use it. Honestly, I'm throwing everything at this stage of life that I can to keep my sanity! I really like Thorne's creatine powder because there's no added sugar and it's flavorless.
